Maptero is available in four languages: English, Italian, French, and Spanish.
It picks your language from your saved preference, then from your browser's language, then falls back to English. You can switch language any time from your Account (the user button in the header on desktop, or the Settings tab on mobile), and the change is immediate.
What is translated: every part of the interface: menus, tutorials, tips, error messages, and the messages Maptero shows after a voice command.
What is not translated: the words you speak. If you speak Italian, your task is kept in Italian, even if your interface is in English. Maptero preserves your transcript in the language you used and only changes its own wording.
A couple of terms stay in English in every language on purpose: "Off-peak" and "Backlog." They are short, clear, and have no clean one-word equivalent elsewhere, so they are treated as proper names of the method.
Dates and times
Dates and times show in your own time zone, wherever you are, with nothing to set up. When you speak a relative date, it resolves to your local day: "remind me tomorrow" means your tomorrow. A task due on a specific calendar date shows that same date to anyone, while now-relative labels (like timestamps) follow your zone. If you travel, your time zone updates from your device automatically.
