Projects group related tasks under a common theme. One click can hide everything else and quiet the noise so you can focus on one area. Projects are yours alone and are not shared.
What a project has
- A name.
- A short name (an uppercase label up to 12 characters) that shows as a colored chip on cards.
- An optional description.
Creating and using a project
- By voice: "Create a project named Website Redesign."
- By hand: from the projects page.
Each project gets its own color, and its short name appears as a chip in the card header. On a project's page there is a project-scoped mic that creates tasks already filed under that project. Filter by project to focus on one area at a time, and each project chip shows how many open tasks it has.
The project lifecycle
- Active: visible in filters, ready for new tasks.
- Archived: tucked away. You cannot archive a project while it still has open tasks; finish or move them first. Its tasks remain and can still be found.
- Unarchived: brought back to active.
